Westside Bern Shopping & Adventure Centre

Wide, wider and widest. That’s the motto of the super-wide slide in the play area of the Westside shopping centre in Bern, Switzerland. The specially manufactured slide is not only super wide at 4.30 metres, but also has two different starting points. Here, children can choose whether to start sliding from a height of 1.80 metres, or braver explorers from a height of 2.90 metres. A partition integrated into the slide surface prevents the sliding children from colliding. This has also been designed with great motifs suitable for children, which also makes the appearance of this unique facility unmistakable.
