Daycare Centre “Ortsmitte”

The almost 4 metre high evacuation slide provides the 2nd escape route for the upper floor of the “Ortsmitte” daycare centre in Abstatt / Baden-Württemberg. The children can quickly reach the entrance to the escape slide via the large balcony and can therefore be evacuated safely. The entrance is secured against unauthorised access to the emergency slide by means of a drop-lock door. However, the stainless steel tunnel slide can also be used by the children as normal play equipment, which allows them to practise unconsciously and minimises the risk of panic in an emergency.
