The pupils at the Torgelow Castle boarding school in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern now have a unique attraction at their disposal – the new adventure tunnel slide. This unique slide offers the schoolchildren sliding fun at the highest level to distract them from the exertions of a school day at the boarding school. So that the slide can be used by the pupils all year round without taking up too much space in the building, the slide was designed so that it leaves the building on the first floor and only comes back inside on the ground floor. Special thermal insulation ensures that the slide tube remains at a comfortable temperature in midsummer and acts as protection against the cold in winter. An in-built LED lighting system provides the necessary basic lighting in the dark. Of course, adventure-seekers can also switch off the lighting to slide in the dark.
