Water slides
are a wet
delight
An atlantics stainless steel water slide is a true visitor magnet in any swimming pool. No wonder! What could be better than experiencing the cool water by sliding with friends or family at an outdoor pool on a sunny, hot day? Rushing into the pool at full speed and then diving underwater. Whether you’re 5 or 50, a water slide has a magical appeal for all who wish to joyfully combine refreshment with fun.
Precisely because they are so popular, water slides must be creatively designed and particularly robust. Our water slides are therefore not only visually impressive but also guarantee plenty of action. They blend harmoniously into the bathing environment and are manufactured to such a high standard that neither heavy usage nor chlorinated water can harm them, even after many years.

Your questions
Our answers
What are the most popular water slides?
Currently, the wide water slide is one of the most popular types of water slides, as users can slide together in all conceivable positions.
Which standard applies to water slides?
The standard for water slides is DIN EN 1069.
Do I need a water connection for the stainless steel slide?
Yes, because water slides require a constant film of water on the sliding surface for their slipperiness and for cooling. The dimensioning of the water connection and the water requirement depend on the type of slide and its size.
Are water slides made from a special type of stainless steel?
Yes, while dry slides are primarily made from V2A stainless steel (AISI 304), atlantics uses the higher-alloyed V4A stainless steel (AISI 316) for water slides, as it is more resistant to salt and chlorinated water.
Can a water slide be operated without a swimming pool or regular pool?
Yes, by opting for a water slide with an integrated landing pool. These water slides are becoming increasingly popular because they do not block existing water areas and thus do not restrict their use.
What are the advantages of a water slide with a landing pool?
Water slides with landing pools can be operated independently of a swimming pool or regular pool. The landing pool takes on the function of the run-out or immersion area required for water slides. This means that existing swimming pools do not need to have these areas cordoned off, which in turn preserves the utility of the pools. It also means that by using an integrated landing pool, an additional water basin or pool does not first have to be built to operate the water slide.
Is a stainless steel slide more expensive than a GRP slide?
Not entirely. Due to the use of high-quality stainless steel, all our slides represent a worthwhile investment with a fun guarantee compared to a GRP slide. Advantages such as UV resistance, low maintenance, high durability, vandalism protection, and nearly 100% recyclability are sustainable reasons that justify a slightly higher purchase price and make a stainless steel water slide a worthwhile long-term investment. We would be pleased to provide you with a corresponding offer.
Can a stainless steel water slide also be customized in terms of colour?
Yes, the exterior surfaces of the stainless steel slide can be supplied in any desired color. Additional design with motifs is also possible. However, for reasons of wear, the sliding surface should only be painted in exceptional cases.
What do I need to consider when caring for and maintaining a stainless steel slide?
Due to the excellent material properties and durability of stainless steel, the maintenance effort for stainless steel slides is extremely low compared to other materials. Furthermore, for water slides, the higher-alloyed V4A stainless steel (AISI 316) is used, which has better corrosion resistance to salt and chlorinated water. Therefore, anyone wishing to create an attraction that is durable, low-maintenance, environmentally friendly, and hygienic is best advised to choose a stainless steel version.
What do I need to get a quote?
To provide you with a quote for your personalized water slide, we generally require the following information from you:
- the desired slide type (box water slide, half-shell water slide, or tunnel water slide)
- the desired slide length and width
- the desired installation situation (on a stair landing or on a slope)
- whether the slide should end in an existing pool or swimming basin, or be offered with a separate landing pool
- desired course of the slide (straight, with curve(s), or as a spiral or helix), if you already know this
We also always appreciate some pictures and dimensioned drawings of the planned installation site for better clarification. You are welcome to contact our team by phone to clarify the necessary details together. We look forward to your call.
