Maria Alm
Austria

At the Steinernes Meer in Maria Alm, Austria, atlantics realised the first forest slide park in 2015. The aim of those responsible at the local tourism association was to make the skiing and hiking area more attractive in the summer months too. Since then, the Natrun forest slide park has offered visitors to the region a special attraction. The idea is to combine hiking and sliding. Visitors can hike from the mountain station back down to the valley via an existing hiking trail and experience the thrill of sliding down the five installed stainless steel slides. The slides, which are between 25 and 55 meters long, offer adventure, variety and diversity in equal measure and turn hiking into a completely new experience. The slides were built by atlantics in strict compliance with nature conservation regulations.
