Daycare Center “Haus der kleinen Füße”

In 2019, atlantics built this play and evacuation slide at the “Haus der kleinen Füße” daycare center in Georgsmarienhütte / Lower Saxony, as a second escape route for the upper floor of the daycare center. The emergency slide was installed in combination with an escape staircase. In the event of an evacuation, the children can therefore also escape via the emergency slide, which, unlike the stairs, is quicker and involves less risk of accidents. The children can also use the escape slide every day when playing in the garden and thus practice unconsciously, which minimises the risk of panic in an emergency.
